Special Events Committee

Special Events Committee:

Meeting Time: 3rd Wednesday each month, 9:30AM @ Chamber
Chairperson: Julie Hatter

Purpose: The Special Events Committee oversees individual event subcommittees that are chaired and co-chaired by chamber members. Committee members for each event organize programs, food and beverages, entertainment, decorations, door prizes and sponsorship's as needed.

The Special Events Committee assists in the planning, execution, and post production follow-up of each event. Duties such as promoting the events, finding volunteers, set-up and break-down, assisting with participation, etc., are all ways the Special Events Committee serves the Chamber.

Goals and Objectives: The Special Events Committee volunteers help to organize a variety of events. Some of these include:
· 96th Annual Installation Gala
· Annual Champions of Change
· Annual Golf Tournament
· Annual State of the City
· Monthly Membership Mixers
· Speaker Series events
· Learning Institute events

The Chamber encourages other suggested events and new and unusual venues.
