The more you put into your chamber membership, the more you will get out of it. One way to get more involved is by joining a committee.
Each year the Inglewood Airport Area selects Committee Chairs and gives opportunities for our members to join a committee.

• Ambassador Committee

  Description: A good option for Chamber Members who have been around a while or new Members who want to be very active. Ambassadors are the "good will representatives" of the Chamber. They are expected to attend as many events as possible and learn about other Chamber Members and their business needs. Additionally, ambassadors welcome new members and help business representatives connect throughout the Chamber community by attending new member site visits and ribbon-cutting events.

Events Planning Committee

Description: The Special Events Committee oversees individual event subcommittees chaired and co-chaired by chamber members. Committee members for each event organize programs, food and beverages, entertainment, decorations, door prizes, and sponsorships as needed.

Golf Committee

Description: The Golf Tournament is one of our biggest annual fundraising events. This committee develops and executes a plan to meet Chamber objectives. In addition, they are responsible for securing numerous on-course sponsorships, silent auction items, and recruiting golfers.

Education Committee

Description: Works to enhance the educational experience by linking academics, business, and community to promote real-world learning, support partnerships, and encourage and celebrate educational excellence in our schools.

Public Policy Committee

Description: This is an excellent group for those interested in the legislative, transportation, and business advocacy issues that affect Inglewood and the surrounding areas. The goal is to discuss these issues and grow the influence of the Inglewood business community through proactive advocacy and thoughtful public policy initiatives.

 Women's Networking Committee

Description: We are creating a supportive community for women. Ultimately, our goal is to prepare women to achieve professional success while cultivating and celebrating their ambition.

Young Professionals Committee

Description: Within our community resides a group of highly motivated young professionals. The Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce wants to organize this dynamic group of our next generation of leaders.
